This instrument is mainly composed of a combustion test chamber and a control panel. The test sample is clamped on the holder and placed above the burner. The burner generates a flame of the specified height to ignite the sample. After the specified ignition duration, parameters such as the afterflame time, afterglow time, and burned length of the sample are measured.
This instrument is applicable to flame-retardant fabrics including woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, coated fabrics, and laminated products.
