Sharp Point Tester

Model: BF-A3 Sharp Point Tester

1. Place the sharp point tester on the accessible sharp point and check whether the tested point can be inserted into the tester to the specified depth. Insert the tested sharp point into the measuring slot and apply an external force of 1 lb. If the indicator light turns on, the point shall be judged as a hazardous sharp point.
2. Splinters on wooden toys are classified as hazardous sharp points and thus shall not be present on any toy products.
3. The sensor head must be adjusted in accordance with specifications before each test to ensure detection accuracy and sensitivity.
4. To calibrate the sharp point tester:
   1. Loosen the locking ring first, then rotate it to move forward sufficiently toward the indicator light assembly, until the calibration reference scale on the circle is exposed.
   2. Rotate the measuring cap clockwise until the indicator light flashes.
   3. Rotate the measuring cap counterclockwise until the appropriate micrometer mark aligns with the calibration reference scale.
   4. Tighten the locking ring against the measuring cap to fix the measuring cap in position.
