Principle
The instrument adopts a uniform-speed rotating cylinder, which is wrapped with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) adhesive tape around its circumference. A force of 1.35 Lbs is applied to the middle of the tape width against the tested edge. While maintaining a constant force on the edge under test, the cylinder shaft performs a full 360° rotation.
