Application:
Simulates the oral cavity volume of children to detect potential hazards such as suffocation or ingestion caused by toys or their accessories.

Operation Method & Interpretation

1. Adjust the toy under test and place it into the slot of the test plate in the orientation that is most likely to enter and pass through the slot, with the only force applied to the toy being its own gravity.
2. Check whether toys with nearly spherical, hemispherical or round ends can pass through the full depth of the holes in the test plate.
3. If a toy itself can be put into a child’s mouth, it may pose hazards such as suffocation or ingestion. Even if the main body of some toys cannot be put into the mouth, their ends may still block the throat and cause suffocation risks.
