ASTM Drop Test Floor :Simulates real-world flooring surfaces to test whether toys sustain structural damage when dropped onto the floor and the potential impacts of such damage.

Compliant Standards:

ASTM F 963 8.7.1/ASTM F 1066/BS 3260

Specifications: 1/8″×12″×12″

Material: Polyethylene sheet

Usage & Instructions:

This polyethylene floor sheet is a dedicated test surface for toy safety testing, compliant with British, European and American standards (ASTM F963 for US, EN for EU) for toy drop tests.

Toys shall be dropped in a random orientation onto the specified impact surface.
The drop frequency and height vary by age group, which are determined based on the differences in young children’s ability to grasp and handle toys corresponding to each age group.
Toys of large size are exempted from the drop test, as children aged 96 months and under are unable to lift and drop such large toys.
To ensure safety in actual use, battery-powered toys shall be fitted with batteries during the drop test.

Scope of Application:

Suitable for toys intended for use by children aged 96 months and under.
