45-Degree Flammability Tester This instrument adopts an integral box-type structure, consisting mainly of a control system and a combustion chamber. The test specimen is mounted on a sample holder tilted at an angle of 45° inside the combustion chamber. The burner is positioned close to the specimen, and after igniting the specimen for a specified duration, the burner retracts automatically. Operators then observe the combustion behavior of the specimen and the flame spread rate on its surface, so as to evaluate the specimen’s ignitability and flame spread performance.
This instrument is applicable for the determination of flame retardant performance of apparel fabrics, decorative fabrics, tent fabrics and other textile materials.
